At Matrix Composites & Engineering, our engineering and design team is central to every solution we deliver. From concept development through to detailed design and qualification, we apply deep technical expertise to create composite systems that are lighter, stronger, and safer in operation.

DESIGNED FOR PRECISION

We work collaboratively with customers to understand the specific requirements of each application and tailor designs to meet standards of safety, performance and durability. Using industry standard software like SolidWorks, our engineering team take concepts from initial sketch to full 3D models and detailed final design. Early-stage ideas are visualised in 3D virtual models to initiate discussion and align clients, engineers and production teams from the outset.

As designs progress, we apply finite element analysis (FEA) and, where required, physical testing to confirm structural performance and reliability all before the first part is manufactured. Every design is developed with performance, manufacturability, and efficiency in mind.

While our engineers lead the design process, they work closely with our production and project teams to ensure a smooth transition from drawing to execution. This approach ensures every design is delivered with accuracy, efficiency and purpose, from the initial concept to final delivery.
