Katherine Clayton brings over 20 years in industry and is a people and culture leader with a strong background in organisational transformation, leadership capability, talent management, and organisation design. Her career spans the telecommunications, oil and gas, electrical utilities, technology and manufacturing industries. She is known for bringing commercial thinking and clear communication to complex people challenges, and for building effective relationships with people from the frontline to the C-Suite.
Across senior HR and transformation roles, Katherine has been accountable for the full range of people outcomes in both local and Asia Pacific teams — including workforce planning, enterprise change, talent management, diversity and inclusion, leadership development and workplace culture programs. A highlight of this work was contributing to an organisation being recognised as a Top 10 Best Place to Work in Australia.
In transformation roles, she has worked closely with executive leadership — including CEOs, Chief Transformation Officers and broader executive teams and Boards — to manage people risk, support cultural change, achieve commercial outcomes and maintain a positive employee experience through periods of significant organisational change.
