JOB DESCRIPTION


ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join our business on a full-time basis.  Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, and based out of Henderson, the Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility.

Detailed accountabilities will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing plant and equipment safely and efficiently;
  • Proactively inspecting and conducting corrective and preventative maintenance on plant, process and facilities equipment;
  • Carrying out statutory inspections;
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities in the CMMS;
  • Addressing issues associated with planned and unplanned maintenance tasks;
  • Assisting with procurement of spare parts and recording spare part movements;
  • Directing and supervising internal work and contractors;
  • Supporting and promoting continuous improvement of maintenance operations; and
  • Maintaining a high standard of safe working practices and house keeping

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


ABOUT YOU

To play a part in our continued expansion and success, we are seeking someone who ideally has:

  • Electrical trade qualification
  • WA ‘A’ class electrical workers licence
  • Experience with automated systems
  • Competency with a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (preferably Maintenance Connections).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Processed-based risk assessment skills
  • A proven track record of fault-finding and problem-solving
  • High resilience and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal communication and time management skills
